Dear Parents, Guardians, Old and Continuing Students,
The Management of Artfield Institute of Design wishes to inform all parents, guardians and students that the Institute is undertaking a transition from the legacy curriculum programs currently being offered to the new TVET-accredited programs in line with the applicable TVET regulatory requirements.
As part of this transition, the Institute will progressively phase out the existing/old curriculum programs and, beginning next year, concentrate its academic delivery on the new TVET programs.
This transition is intended to ensure that the Institute’s programs remain aligned with the current regulatory framework and that students are enrolled and trained under programs that meet the required TVET standards.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO STUDENTS WITH PENDING ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Students who are currently enrolled under the existing curriculum and have pending modules, outstanding assessments, or approved deferred semesters are strongly advised to use the remaining transition period to complete all outstanding academic requirements.
Students with deferred semesters should also ensure that they resume and complete their studies within the designated period communicated by the Institute.
The Institute will make every effort to support students in completing their outstanding academic requirements during this transition period. However, students are encouraged to take personal responsibility for ensuring that they do not allow pending modules or deferred studies to extend unnecessarily.
WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD DO
All affected students are advised to:
- Check their academic records with the Registry to confirm any outstanding modules or academic requirements.
- Complete all outstanding modules and assessments within the stipulated transition period.
- Students with approved deferred semesters should make arrangements with the Registry to resume their studies within the required period.
- Seek clarification from the Registry early if they are uncertain about their academic status or remaining requirements.
IMPORTANT
Students should take this notice seriously, as the Institute’s transition to the new TVET programs will affect the continued delivery of the legacy curriculum.
The Institute therefore encourages all parents, guardians and students to work closely with the Office of the Academic Registrar during this transition period to ensure that students complete their academic requirements and are appropriately guided through the change.
Further communication regarding the new TVET programs, admission requirements, program structures and implementation arrangements will be issued as the transition progresses.
We appreciate your cooperation and continued support as Artfield Institute of Design aligns its academic programs with the evolving TVET regulatory framework.
For further clarification, please contact the Office of the Academic Registrar.
Yours faithfully,
Academic Registrar
