Overview

With this course, students are introduced to a unique art form that can make or break innovations. Through understanding product creation fundamentals, processes, techniques, tools, and technologies, students can create and design competitive products in the global market. Join us to day to learn how to use sophisticated computer software and rapid prototyping equipment to design new products and improve existing ones, to learn the fundamentals of illustration, computer-aided illustration, computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing technology and how to use professional software like Photoshop and Blender to visually communicate your product ideas.

ADMISSION PREREQUISITES

Candidates should have;
Obtained 1 Principal pass, 2 subsidiary passes in one seating; one in Art at A level and preferable passed it at O level OR
An honours first degree,
Certificate in Graphics Design from a recognized institution or its equivalent, OR
A written statement of purpose or motivation (up to one page),
60-80 credit units in Product Design will be an added advantage.
Prospective students can also submit a portfolio of their original work for consideration. OR
Candidates having other qualifications in professional training that can be validated to be equivalent to the above qualifications will be eligible for admission.
