The Major Project represents the culmination of our students’ efforts before graduation—the definitive assessment that distinguishes exceptional designers from the rest. Following an intensive two-year program featuring rigorous training, lectures, workshops, and critiques, we proudly presented our talented students to the discerning eyes of interior design professionals at MAD McCANN, one of the country’s leading advertising agencies.
On a Saturday in April, our students arrived impeccably dressed and thoroughly prepared, showcasing their innovative projects to industry veterans. Over the course of two hours, the MAD McCANN team witnessed a remarkable display of creativity and professionalism, much to the satisfaction of Mr. Katumba Andrew, the lecturer overseeing the Major Project Class of 2025.
Mr. Peter Kazibwe, Creative Director at MAD McCANN, expressed genuine admiration for our students’ work, stating: “The major projects I’ve seen today are more organic, more interactive, and more insight-driven. To be honest, you can see the heart and soul of the students in these projects.” He extended his appreciation to Artfield Institute’s management and encouraged other advertising agencies to forge stronger partnerships with our institution, adding: “These students have brought their A-game to the advertising agency; you can feel it, you can smell it.”
This successful showcase exemplifies the core philosophy of Artfield Institute of Design: with proper guidance and support, everyone can unlock their creative potential, pursue their passion, and create a meaningful impact throughout the industry.
